Biomass - reliable clean energy
Biomass provides from 25 to 50 % of the calorific value of oil and coal, usable according to demand. The higher transportation volume demands decentralized utilization of by-products from neighboring plants of forestry and agriculture or wood and food industry. In the meantime bio energy turned into a global trend.
Advantages of heat and electric power generation from biomass fuels:
- CO2-neutral: The combustion product carbon dioxide is bound from the atmosphere through photosynthesis in the again-growing up biomass source.
- Low price: Biomass fuels are independent of the cost development for oil and coal. Furthermore they are tax-free and partly subsidized.
- High profit: Power and heat generation from renewable energy sources legal minimum compensation.
- Clean firing technology: Face to face with oil and coal very low exhaust gas profit by emission will be released to environment.
- Regional value added: The energy sources do not have to be imported. A considerable amount of plant components of the EtaPlant-Systems can be supplied from local resources, what provides regional employment.
- Renewable energy: If being grown cultivated, biomass is a never ending source, the energy cycle is closed.
- High security of supply: No dependence on fossil energy sources at energy crises and supply bottlenecks.
